O tempora, o mores ! C’est vraiment une honte, franchement. Les jeunes de nos jours ont complètement perdu le contact avec tout ce qui pourrait ressembler de près ou de loin à un monde intérieur. À mon époque, on s’intéressait à des choses qui comptaient – les livres, la philosophie, et même un peu d’angoisse existentielle pour faire bonne mesure. Maintenant ? Oublie ça ! Tout ce qui les intéresse, ce sont leurs “likes”, la dernière paire de baskets hors de prix et leurs ongles impeccablement manucurés. Comme si une pédicure soignée pouvait leur offrir des éclaircissements sur les mystères de l’univers ! Et ne me lance même pas sur leur obsession pour les toasts à l’avocat et les lattes hors de prix. Que des futilités à la mode ! Dieu merci, il reste des gens comme moi, qui ne feront peut-être jamais la couverture des magazines, mais je peux te dire que j’ai de la profondeur ! Tout ce qu’il me reste à comprendre, c’est à quel genre de compétition ridicule nous participons…
